I took my dad to the mall the other day to buy some new shoes.

We decided to grab a bite at the food court.

I noticed he was watching a teenager sitting next to him.

The teenager had spiked hair in all different colors: green, red, orange, and blue….

My dad kept staring at him.

The teenager would look and find him staring every time. When the teenager had enough, he sarcastically asked, ‘What’s the matter old man, never done anything wild in your life?’

Knowing my Dad, I quickly swallowed my food so that I would not choke on his response; knowing he would have a good one.

……And in his classic style, he did not bat an eye in his response….

”Got drunk once and had sex with a peacock. I was just wondering if you were my son.”

There’s something about Saturday that sets you into a great mood !!! You want to dress up to work in your chic casuals after a week long of formals and set into a flirtatious mood and enjoy the day !! If your the lucky ones who don’t work on a Saturday then ideally one catches up with friends for lunch or check out the latest bargains available in the market or just have a fun day out with friends.

Well for me Saturday is one day I really look forward to, I try not to work but invariably land up working at least for half a day which is still okie……..

Saturday nights are fun nights, catching up with friends and outings…….something I really really look forward to !!

Its surely sad to know about the icon passing away…. Micheal Jackson !!

People around the world are mourning the loss of the music maestro but is there really a need to go over the top about it. News channels, Twitter feeds, Facebook posts, left right and center people are expressing their views but does anyone really care or even think for a minute of all the poor & innocent people who suffer around the world and depart at the blink of an eye.

Its really not fair to give so much importance to a celebrity, the value of the human being is the same, it doesn’t change in the eyes of the Supreme, but we as individuals mark our respect to the celebrities and leave the faultless alone !!

There are millions of people around the world who die every minute, why cant we treat this as just another one, so whats the big deal if hes a celebrity and shares a “special” status !!!

I know most of you might not even agree with me, but this this is what i honestly feel !!
